Meet Coach Max

Coach Max here! I’m the owner and founder of AMP’D Fitness, and I like to bring the fun. I believe every gym session should end with a smile — we work hard, we make progress, and we have a great time doing it.

I’ve been training in the gym since I was 14 years old and coaching clients since 2019. Funny enough, I used to dread my dad dragging me to the gym — but years later, I’m beyond grateful he instilled that routine in me.

What I love most is watching people blow their own minds. Too often, people assume their bodies are too fragile or weak because of age. The truth is, confidence builds fast — and lifting weight you never thought possible can change your life in the most positive way.

My favorite thing to say and live by is “Lift heavy and do it often!”

Coach Jon Trosi

Coach Jon here! I have a CPT from NASM and a Sports Nutrition Certification from Precision Nutrition. I specialize in the increase of strength and muscle mass for males and females. I’ve been training in some capacity for over 30 years. I was an overweight, picked-on, elementary school kid. Thankfully, my father introduced me to the gym in a way to help build my confidence. I fell in love with it almost immediately and the stronger I became the more my confidence soared.

There is so much I love about coaching and training, but what I love the most is getting to interact with so many different people and personalities on a daily basis. One of the best parts about coaching is helping people achieve their goals, even if it's in small part.

Fun fact about me, when I was 13 years old, I was part of the world's largest Macarena at Yankees Stadium, which technically makes me a world record holder.

Teresa Tobey - AMPD Fitness Trainer

Coach Teresa Tobey

Coach T here! I actually have a BS in Exercise Science and I also have a CPT and CNC from NASM.

I have been training clients for 7 years now. Back when I was in college, I started with a trainer who taught me how to strength train and lift weights during my off season from playing Soccer and since then I absolutely fell in love with it.

What I love about coaching in general is it allows me to make an impact on peoples lives and even just their day by helping them build strength and confidence!

Coach Jacques Picault

With my military background, I bring a different kind of specialty to the AMP’D crew, a disciplined mindset. I contain knowledge that not only can help get your body strong and fit, but your mind as well.

I’ve been training for most of my life. I grew up playing sports and after graduating high school, I enlisted in the Army which made me fall in love with strength training and being strong and able-bodied.

What I love most about coaching is the people I get to train. They come ready to get after it and reach new levels day-in and day-out, and that’s what keeps me motivated. You’ll always hear me saying, “I don’t like anything easy.”

Coach Ally Mielnick

Coach Ally here! I am a NASM CPT! I have expertise in both strength and conditioning, but I emphasize strengthening your CORE more than anything!Funny enough I never did any type of strength training until I moved back to NJ 18 months ago and found a home at AMP'D Fitness. I completely fell in love with this program so much that it inspired me to get my certification and become a trainer at the very place it all started for me and that I love the most, AMP’D. I love when members complete a PR or accomplish a goal they never thought they could do - it's the most fulfilling part of being a coach! Fun fact about me: When I lived in LA, I had the full Hollywood experience, working the Grammy's, dozens of red carpet movie premieres, and so much more!

Coach Brent Burns

Hey guys! Coach Brent here and I am a NASM Certified Person Trainer. I began my fitness journey because I was overweight and had some major health issues. At first it was all about losing weight, but then it slowly became more about being healthy and strong. When my son began to workout, I dug deeper into learning more about proper technique and form. I now utilize that knowledge to train my clients and members at the gym. I love coaching and getting to help people push themselves to get the extra rep, or set and to hit those heavy PRs. Making people feel good about themselves, and build confidence in the gym is my passion!
